There are many different variations of poker
tables for sale online today. If you're doing online searches
looking at poker tables for sale, make sure to ask all the right
questions. The price ranges vary with poker tables for
sale, but so does the quality, so this is where you have to be
careful. Let's review what's out
there today and stay away from making some common mistakes.
Texas Hold'em Poker Tables For Sale:
The table shown to the left is what you'll see on
most sites that have poker tables for sale.
They range in size for 93" to
74", and have folding metal legs for storage.
Here is a checklist of items to make sure you know
about any poker tables for sale:
-
If you going to comfortably seat 10
players, go with the middle of that range, like an 83" or
84" table. Smaller 74" tables just don't cut it. They may be
lower in price by $40 or so, but that extra space goes a
long way and is worth spending a little extra.
-
Make sure you ask about the thickness of the wood
used for the playing surface. Most tables use MDF board,
which is ok, but if it's too thin the table will bend when
you lean on it. Important: Make sure the poker tables for
sale are at least 3/4" MDF board. 1/2" is cheap and will
easily bend.
-
One major problem with 99% of the poker
tables for sale today is they don't have the ability to
change the felt. The felt is tucked under the padded
rail, and the rail is nailed down on most the tables today.
Once that felt rips or wears down to the foam underneath,
the table is ruined. There is one poker table for sale I
have seen that has a removable rail, and I highly recommend
going this route. It's only common sense. You can

Folding Texas Hold'em Poker Tables For
Sale:
The above type of poker table for sale has
folding legs and folds in half. This table was created out of
the need for better storage for the user, plus cheaper shipping
costs. The poker tables for sale that do not fold usually have
to be sent by freight companies since it's too large for Fed Ex
or UPS to handle. So this design results in a less expensive more
storable table.
This table shown above can be found just about
anywhere. They come in different sizes, again, just make sure
you're getting at least the 84" version.
What I don't like about these is the fold line in
the middle of the table. I know it stores better, but it bothers
me when I play. Plus, you can not change the felt because the
railing does not remove. If you are going to get this table,
you should not be spending over $200, shipping included, for the
84" table. Pokerchiplounge.com has these poker tables for sale
for $199.00.

sense and you'll have a table that'll last a long time.
